There are a lot of homeless people that are in need of all sorts of things and the numbers are increasing in some shelters. "The number of families entering shelter increased by 143% over the past 10 years" - The Road Home. Between the two Road Home shelters here and in Salt Lake, there are over 1000 residents staying at the shelters. "On any given night, we have over 1,600 individuals in housing in the community" - The Road Home. When we were talking to the lady at the shelter, she said "We mainly run off of donations". While people are staying, they can receive case management to help them in their situation. "60% of all clients in shelter received case management services of some kind during their stay" - The Road Home. "Our mission is to help people step out of homelessness and back into our community." - The Road Home. You can help with their mission by donating to the shelters. Residents are always in need of certain items and it always will help someone if people donate.
